BODRI Hungarian ska folk!

Their first official life sign was a Hungarian folk song cover medley, which was released in the end of 2012. From the beginning an important point of view was to take care of the Hungarian traditions, so their first video clip was shot in a very unique place, on a pig slaughter in Besenyszög.

The bands first own release was came out in the summer of 2012, called “Gulyás a ligetben” (Goulash in the park) and that was the official song of the fifteenth annual Goulash Festival of Szolnok. The video shows the lifestyle of the herdsmen.

The band is cooperates with the www.itshungarian.com online traditionalist project from the beginning. This website is in contact with thousands of foreign organizations and newspapers which have relationships with Hungary or the Hungarian culture, and have many readers who are interested in the Hungarian traditions, cuisine and culture. The itsHungarian project regularly publishes BODRI songs and because of the positive feedbacks the band recorded the English versions of some of their own and folk song covers.
