Ti Ti Tábor Hungarian Folk Camp

For 22 years, Ti Ti Tábor has offered a rich immersion experience into authentic Hungarian folk culture. – Ti Ti Tábor Hungarian Folk Camp

In 2014, over 130 people participated in the camp from 15 US states and 2 Canadian provinces. Set on the beautiful Raft Island, in Washington State, the week-long camp brings experts from Hungary to teach classes in music, song, and dance for adults and a thematic folk arts program for children.

Whether you are a long time camper or someone with no previous experience with Hungarian culture, this camp offers something for everyone!

Besides the daily classes, each day culminates in the nightly, recreational folk dance party, or táncház, held to live music. Throughout the week opportunities for additional fun include a Hungarian banquet, ice cream social, bonfire, puzzles, swimming, and canoeing, just to name a few! Work exchanges and scholarships are available. All instruction is given in Hungarian with English translation.
