Oven baked catfish ingredients:                       catfish

  • 1 3/4 lbs/800 g catfish fillets             
  • salt
  • 1 3/4 lbs/800 g potatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 ¼ cups/300 ml sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp ground paprika (semisweet)

Too create an oven baked catfish first cut the fillets into fairly small pieces and season with salt. Cut the boiled potatoes into very thin slices. Butter an enamel or other heatproof dish, and arrange the potatoes over the bottom. Season with salt, and place the pieces of fish on top. Grate the onion and combine with the sour cream and ground paprika. Spread this mixture over the fish. Bake in a preheated oven (300 °F/150 °C) for 40—50 minutes until the potatoes are cooked. Enjoy the oven baked catfish.
